Her main influences come from the jazz and swing music introduced to her by her Lola and Lolo, along with classic R&B, Soul, and Hip-Hop music from her parents’ CD collections. While she spent formative years of her upbringing around the bay in cities like San Francisco and Oakland, she still reflects on her 15 years growing up in Vallejo when calling it “home.”
Following her debut EP release (Not Too Bad For A Crybaby, 2022), and ahead of new music anticipated to release in 2023, she is excited to come home and perform in front of friends and family, celebrating her Pinay heritage and local Vallejo community. linktr.ee/tylerlauren @tylerlaaauren

Filipino bboy/freestyler. I was born and raised in the Bay Area with Vallejo being my hometown. Growing up, the Hip-Hop culture has inspired and influenced me in many ways with music and dance.
I’ve been to many different bboy/all style competitions like World of Dance Bay Area or Red Bull BC Sacramento Cypher. Participating in various sessions helped me grow as a dancer, learning its history to the moves itself.
Being able to give back to my community really is a blessing to share my knowledge with the next gen of bboys/bgirls!
