Where it All Began Celebration

New and exciting location on Vallejo’s historic Mare Island, where history was made when the U.S. Naval ships left in 1898 to fight in the Battle of Manila Bay on May 1, 1898. This led to Spain’s surrender and the Declaration of Independence by Emilio Aguinaldo on June 12, 1898, where we celebrate Philippine Independence Day.

This free outdoor event will feature the 12th Annual Filipino Martial Arts Tournament, Live Music, Vendors and more to come! Free parking is available and all ages are welcome.
