Thank you to everyone who joined in to celebrate the 34th Annual Vallejo Pista Sa Nayon Virtual and Pop-Up Festival.
We hope you enjoyed the joyous festival of Filipino heritage, pride, culture and traditions through immersing yourself in our culture.
It was an eventful day, hosted by Hypeman Franco Finn and filled with local home-grown talent that included virtual performances by OneVo1ce, DJ Shortkut, Jesse Bethel High School Marching Band. Thank you to the Kultura International Dance Ensemble, Sinulog Dance Group and Banyuhay Group for joining with us in person to help immerse use in traditional Philippine dances. Thank you to Island Warriors Martial Art for performing an arnis demonstration, a traditional philippine sport and art which is highlighted in many martial arts films today.
Thank you to Vallejo Mayor Robert McConnell and American Canyon Mayor Leon Garcia for helping start the festivities with our Zumba Flash Mob.
Thank you to our DJ’s Ruel Oller, Kaleo Wilso and James Miranda for providing sounds and lights.
